ford focus 2012 review

All new 2012 Ford Focus goes on sale in early 2011. Ford Motor Company unveiled the upcoming Focus on the January 2010 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Focus C-2012 is a small car packed with new technologies, new engines and new customer features, some of which are not offered by other cars in this class. This is a huge market segment that is responsible for 2 million units of production per year and includes the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Mazda 3, and the upcoming Chevrolet Cruze. Focus is a great success for Ford since its launch in early 1998, selling more than 9.2 million vehicles worldwide production facilities in Germany, Russia, Spain, the Philippines, China, South Africa and Vietnam.

In the U.S., will be available in Focus five-door hatchback and four-door sedan version. In Europe, the Focus is also available as a three-door hatchback, like the RS model 300 hp.

The new Focus will be built around an all-new Ford powertrain, the engine with all-aluminum 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and direct injection system and Denso TiVCT, twin independent variable camshaft timing, two features taken together, provide functions together a very smooth idle with high power and torque, but fuel economy and emissions performance is very good, the figures are not known at this time. Initial power figures are 155 horsepower and 145 foot-pounds of torque with a very high compression ratio of 12:1, which previously only suitable for racing engines. Then there will be a turbocharged 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine version that is offered to the performance-minded buyers, and later, Ford is a common rail direct injection diesel version is planned for the European version of the hybrid, and the battery electric version to offer.
